Job Description:

At Regions, the Technology Service Delivery Manager ensures technology services are designed, planned, implemented, and improved in line with both current and future business needs. This role engages, coordinates, and supports Regions’ technology functions to ensure the consistent deployment of processes, tools and technology essential for effective service delivery and development. You will also be responsible for the leadership of the service management team and will recruit, lead, motivate, develop, and manage the performance of direct reports, building a high caliber team with the skills and capabilities needed to deliver the required results.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepares for new or changed services, oversight of the change process and the maintenance of regulatory, legal, and professional standards

  • Provides leadership of operational technology services to a small team, which may include but not limited to asset management, change management, configuration management, etc. and request handling

  • Develops continual improvement plans to ensure that technology services adequately support business needs now and, in the future

  • Analyzes and coordinates relationships with and between stakeholders, in relation to the technology services they need during the design and implementation phase of new services and throughout the service lifecycle

  • Identifies and manages external suppliers to ensure successful delivery of technology services to Regions

  • Ensures that adequate documentation, information repositories, staff training and other items essential for knowledge gathering, transfer and retention are in place throughout the full lifecycle for all supported systems and services

  • Recruits, leads, motivates, develops and manages the performance of direct reports, building a high caliber team with the skills and capabilities needed to deliver the required results

  • Coordinates the planning, designing, testing and maintenance of procedures and plans to ensure that agreed levels of continuity are maintained

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related computer field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible and related technology experience

  • OR High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of progressively responsible and related technology experience

Preferences

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification

  • Experience in establishing or significantly improving systems and processes

  • Experience with Agile/SAFe development methodologies

  • Experience with Service Now IT Service Management (ITSM) module

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of business leaders

  • Ability to hold individuals accountable and develop the ability to influence without authority

  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive data-driven solutions

  • Advanced understanding of the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Knowledge of ITIL

  • Knowledge sufficient to plan and manage the implementation of processes, tools and methods for monitoring and managing the performance of systems and services, in respect of their contribution to business performance and benefits to the business

  • Practical knowledge of monitoring people, supplier and systems performance, taking corrective action where necessary

  • Strong priority management skills

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience

This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC . Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$127,999.60 USD

Median:

$161,560.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
